Connect enquiries, qualified conversations, proposals and wins without pretending that traffic is revenue.
Before you start
This free self-check is a starting point. Review its result before making a business decision.
Tool limits and data use
Results depend on your inputs and are not professional, technical, legal or financial advice. Most answers stay in your browser; a public URL checker sends the URL to JBM for a bounded page fetch. JBM records your terms and privacy acknowledgment. Check important conclusions with a qualified person.
If enabled, JBM counts this tool start and one coded result category; imported rows are not sent through that counter.
Work out what your current data can answer and the smallest tracking fix needed for the next decision. Stage rates are not channel attribution.
Your counts and imported rows remain in this browser tab. JBM receives only a coded result category if aggregate collection is enabled after policy review.
How to use this map
Define a cohort by enquiry date, say how your team qualifies a lead, and choose when you will stop observing outcomes. A small CRM export gives the strongest diagnosis; summary totals provide only a limited view.
How to interpret the result
Missing source and missing outcome are their own categories. Do not assign them to the best-performing channel. A stage ratio tells you what happened in a cohort, not what caused a sale or where to spend next.
Worked example
Suppose 40 enquiries produced 15 qualified conversations and five proposals, but 12 enquiries have no source. The first measurement task is to capture source consistently; comparing channels now would give a misleading picture.
Questions buyers ask
Do you retain my lead records?
No. Imported rows stay in this browser tab.
Why define an observation date?
Long buying cycles can leave recent enquiries open. Calling them lost too soon distorts the funnel.
Does the map prove marketing return?
No. It identifies whether your tracking can support that analysis.
What should we implement first?
Usually a stable lead ID, source capture, clear stage dates and an owner for updating outcomes—but the result prioritizes gaps in the records you entered.
What this tool can tell you
Site usage statistics appear only after enough completed checks have accumulated. Until then, these cards explain how to use the result.
Define the cohort
Use the enquiry creation date and a stated observation window before comparing stages.
Unknown is a bucket
Keep missing source and outcome visible; do not distribute them across known channels.
What to verify
Stage ratios describe a process. They do not prove a channel caused a sale.
First tracking job
Create one stable lead ID and record stage dates against it.
Useful artifact
Share the measurement specification with the CRM owner before changing spend.
